Welcome to Carol Plumridge Osteopathy
I trained at the University College of Osteopathy (formally the British School of Osteopathy) and graduated in 1980 after a four-year full-time training. I am registered with the General Osteopathic Council and maintain the Osteopathic Standards of Practice. I see clients that are referred from GP’s and who also self refer. I am insured with The Institute of Osteopathy.
Clients come seeking pain relief from a variety of causes from sciatica, spinal and joint issues to arthritis and headaches. Using both my knowledge of modern pain science and osteopathic principles I aim to educate, diagnose and rehabilitate clients back to a healthy and pain-free life. I take a holistic view of every client as helping you understand your pain is key to your recovery.
Knowledge will make you free. Socrates

Following a Trimalleolar ankle fracture and insertion of plates etc I needed advice on exercises to regain mobility of my ankle and increase the weight bearing capacity. Even though Carol is not able to undertake face to face consultations she undertook a video consultation which was incredibly helpful. She followed up with excercises and videos to help.
I am now on the road to recovery and am very grateful to Carol who has provided a positive input towards that recovery. MK May 2020
